Figures from a YouGov survey, cited by a news agency, showed that only 13% of 11-to-17-year-olds who vape now primarily use disposable products — a sharp fall from 42% recorded before the ban was introduced in 2025, and well below the peak of 69% documented in 2023.
The downward trend extended to adult users as well. Just 8% of adult vapers reported disposable products as their primary choice, compared with 24% in 2025 and 31% in 2023.

However, the picture is not entirely clear-cut — Sky News noted that millions of single-use devices are still reportedly being discarded, raising questions about the extent to which the ban is being fully enforced on the ground.
